Like a Kid on Christmas

That's how I felt when I hopped on the Internets this morning to read Sherry Thomas's combined review of Ember and Like a Thief in the Night at Dear Author.

Ms. Sharpe,

You deserve all those great reviews. IMO, you're one of the most talented voices to hit the romance genre in very long time. If you're not agented sold on proposal to New York in a couple of months, I'll be amazed. I have no doubt I'll see you on one of the well-known bestseller's list, not once but several times.

whoops. I can't proof. "I have to recover."

As in, just as I suspected: You are that good and better.

I said it there and I'll say it here, one of the best reviews I've ever read. That girl is utterly in love with you. Not that I blame her. You've won most of us over. Darn you and your incredible talent. ;) Does it mean anything that I look at your WIP section all the time wondering WHEN you'll sell!? I'm like, get on it, woman, I'm dying here.

Oy... Sherry makes me feel so inadequate at reviewing! She did an awesome job conveying the feel of reading your stories.

BTW, I can't help thinking that Arden's protege has his own story to tell...
